Breastfeeding and Cleft Lip-Palate

Dear Amy,

Here are some great cleft lip and palate links and publications you can order online as they relate to breastfeeding and human lactation to list on your cleft links page.  Please put a note that it's essential that the dental team collaborate with a lactation professional (like myself!) when caring for breastfeeding infants with cleft lip/palate.  We all need to promote the preventative value of feeding breastmilk to these children whenever possible!

Sincerely,
